Description
As the first elected female councilor in her Iranian village, Sara Shahverdi sets out to break with deeply rooted patriarchal traditions, training teenage girls to drive motorcycles and eradicating child marriage. When accusations arise questioning her intentions to empower young women, her identity is called into question.
