Description

These five Ibero-American short films present diverse and daring reflections on our understanding of identity and how it is constructed through interaction with others. Navigating a hybrid of formats—fiction, animation, and non-fiction—this selection explores the transformations of the body that lay the foundation for self-identity, death as a catalyst for self-questioning, the personal objects that define us and that we leave behind after death, and unexpected encounters that reveal aspects of ourselves we were afraid to look at.
