Description

A selection of five short films—four documentaries and one fiction film—that explore the relationship between the bodies of the inhabitants and the territory that shelters them. The films examine the dualities between rural and urban life; the desire to protect traditions tied to the land and threatened by capitalist progress; memory as a fundamental aspect of inhabiting a place; and the political acts of migration, displacement, and the separation of families born in one place but forced to fragment due to the current global situation.
