Description

Clara is a teenager growing up in a small Indigenous community high in the Andes. Her adoptive mother, a midwife who took her in as a baby, has taught her the ancestral songs used to guide women during childbirth—melodies passed down through generations and believed to bring a healthy new life into the world. But while her voice carries this tradition, her dreams lie elsewhere: Clara longs to leave the mountains and become a folk music star in the big city.
