The MAMM is offering 50% scholarships for its courses and workshops.
The Museum is offering 50% scholarships for two courses and workshops in its “Thinking, Feeling, and Creating” program, thanks to the support of the MUV Foundation. This initiative aims to facilitate public access to learning and reflection spaces focused on art, writing, and the history of Colombian art.
The scholarships will be available for two programs designed for young people and adults. The first is “Naming the Void: From Contemplation to Writing,” a workshop led by writer, journalist, and university professor Lucas Vargas. It will take place over four sessions on Wednesdays, March 18 and 25, and April 8 and 15, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Through creative writing exercises, the course invites participants to explore the relationship between contemplation and language, and to cultivate a habit of looking and writing based on their experience of works of art.
The second proposal is ‘Provincial Pop? Image and Research Strategies in Beatriz González’, a two-session course to be held on March 19 and 20, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., led by art historian, artist and teacher Natalia Gutiérrez, who has worked with the artist since 2016. The course proposes a journey through more than six decades of Beatriz González’s work, addressing how her work has reflected on the history, violence and visual culture of the country.
Those interested can apply for a 50% scholarship to participate in these two training programs at the Museum. Apply using the button below:
