Description
The purpose of this course is to provide the essential elements of film language and its formal and narrative discourses to enable an overview of cinematic art and the ability to approach a film in an analytical, contextual and interpretive manner.
Session 1. Guidelines, levels and canons of film appreciation

Session 2. Aspects of film language
Wilson Montoya. Bachelor of Arts, filmmaker, teacher and coordinator of the Pulp Movies Film Club.
Session 3. Modes and language of documentary
Adriana Mora. Social communicator, researcher and professor.
Session 4. Film genres and narrative modes

- The course will only run if a minimum number of participants are enrolled. If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the course will be cancelled and registered participants will be notified.
