We invite you to participate on Wednesday, March 13 at 2 p.m. in this laboratory where we will connect affectively and mentally with the patterns that condition or nourish our bonds with the territory, while we problematize extractivist dynamics and the appropriation of nature.
It will be a gathering to propose ways of balancing and synchronizing ourselves, motivated to look downward to rediscover the sacred geometry of everyday life; just as artist Miguel Angel Rojas did in his work Grano – where he recalls his childhood by drawing the floor tiles of his home – and artist Carolina Caicedo, who transforms the Cauca River into a kaleidoscope to address the environmental and social issues surrounding it.
At the end of this laboratory, you will have created a textile tile in Patchwork, an object to connect us with the city’s floors and our memories. Participation in this laboratory is free admission with prior registration.
