Works of art have a seductive quality that captures our attention without being mediated by the intellect; something deeply intuitive that connects us sensorially with the creator, the creation, and the world. In this tour, we will interact with other people and with the works of art with the sole intention of enriching our experience and allowing ourselves to be affected by the presence of the other.
About the exhibition
The Museum set out to review and update the meanings of its collection, which is viewed as a compendium of pieces with meanings that change, are revitalized, and respond to diverse social relationships. The exhibition is divided into four events that are relevant to the memory of the Museum and the country, while also addressing the issue of the concept of heritage and engaging in dialogue with 56 works from the collection and 4 guest artists who update each of the events.
This activity is made possible thanks to the Dynamic Audience Development strategy of the Secretariat of Citizen Culture of the Mayor’s Office of Medellín.
