As part of the celebration of the Museum’s 45th anniversary, we will have a wide range of workshops and tours through our exhibitions, in which you can participate freely with prior registration.
The MAMM Collection has been a meeting point for diverse voices, conversations, and human natures; it has narrated and at the same time reclaimed, serving as a living archive that not only documents but also acts as a breeding ground for connecting art with individual and collective needs. During this tour of Version libre. Sucesos en la Coleccion MAMM, we will consider the events that have served as turning points in the Museum’s history and its relationship with the world, recognizing its reach as a space for dialogue and awareness-raising.
About the exhibition
The Museum set out to review and update the meanings of its collection, which is viewed as a compendium of pieces with meanings that change, are revitalized, and respond to diverse social relations. The exhibition is divided into four events that are relevant to the memory of the Museum and the country, while also addressing the issue of the concept of heritage and entering into dialogue with 56 works from the collection and 4 invited artists who update each of the events.
We invite you to check out the program so you can join us in this celebration where art takes center stage.
