Alibombo is a musical project that since 2009 has been developing research in musical composition using objects found in our surroundings, such as bicycle tires, old televisions, jacket zippers, among others — many of them considered “trash.”
This project has established itself as one of the most innovative experimental percussion shows in Latin America and the world, putting Colombia’s name on the map at many of the world’s best music festivals, such as: FMM Sines, Boom Festival, Artes a rua in Portugal, Au foin de la rue in France, Sakifo festival in Reunion Island, Zakifo in Durban South Africa, Bassline Festival in Johannesburg, among others.
For this concert at MAMM, Alibombo joins 6 wind musicians, Los Sopladores.
