Connecting river, sea and jungle, viche is a traditional beverage that has been part of the daily life of communities in the Colombian Pacific. Made from native sugarcane, viche is fundamental at collective gatherings and patron saint festivals; it is the base for spirited beverages and a generous ally of midwives and traditional healers.
We invite you to this gathering on Wednesday, May 15 at 6:30 p.m., to connect with new territories while we travel through the different flavors of viche. Admission is free with a voluntary contribution.
This conversation is inspired by our exhibition “Desafiar. Atravesar el sol desde un gran Pacífico,” which is made possible thanks to our major ally Sura and the support of the Ministerio de las culturas, las artes y los saberes and Comfama.
