This will be a special tour of the exhibition Juan Fernando Herrán. Materialidades y constelaciones. This experience will lead us to explore the artist’s works from an intimate and reflective perspective, pausing at their forms, materials and symbols to think about power not only as an external force, but also as a personal experience.

During the tour, we will have an active conversation about what makes us feel powerful: our everyday gestures, bonds, beliefs or resistances. It will be a moment to connect art with our own stories and share diverse perspectives on power in its multiple dimensions.

About the exhibition

Over the last thirty years, Juan Fernando Herrán has developed his work from extensive fieldwork, frequently carried out in the company of a camera and his notebooks; he has also grounded it in historical, sociological and anthropological research. His processes of transforming materials, as well as constructing images and structures, are rooted in those carried out by other human beings in their search for practical solutions and symbolic meaning.
