Guided listening at the exhibition Huellas de aire

Guided listening tour of the exhibition Huellas de aire

Participate in this space to delve deeper into the curatorial vision of the exhibition; interact directly with the artist, Ximena Alarcon, and the curator, Jorge Bejarano; and learn firsthand about the motivations and contexts of this immersive sound installation.

About the exhibition

Huellas de aire explores the relationship between breathing, air, and memory in the context of the urban ecology of Medellín. Conceived as a relational space, the work invites visitors to interact with the sonic environment through body movement and breathing, while following movement and interaction guidelines projected in the room. Inspired by the practice of deep listening — developed by American composer Pauline Oliveros — which Alarcon has embraced in her artistic and research work, this installation seeks to deepen the connection with our shared aerial environment through attentive and embodied listening.
