Guided tour of the exhibition Nada se puede duplicar realmente
En Sala con is a space to delve deeper into the curatorial vision of the Museum’s exhibitions, interact directly with artists and curators, and learn firsthand about the motivations and contexts of the exhibitions. On this occasion, we will visit the exhibition Nada se puede duplicar realmente, accompanied by master printmaker Angela Maria Restrepo.
About the exhibition
Nada se puede duplicar realmente is a solo exhibition by the Antioquian master printmaker Angela Maria Restrepo, a key figure in the history of printmaking, drawing, and illustration in Colombia over the last forty years, as well as founder and owner of the printmaking workshop La Estampa, through which generations of Antioquian printmakers have passed. Restrepo’s work has focused, on one hand, on seemingly insignificant aspects of everyday life and, on the other, on the representation of characteristic elements of the flora and landscape of Antioquia and Colombia, constituting a comprehensive description of her life experience, context, and her historical moment on Earth.
