En Sala con is a space to delve deeper into the curatorial vision of the Museum’s exhibitions, interact directly with artists and curators, and learn firsthand about the motivations and contexts behind the exhibitions. On this occasion, we will visit the exhibition Ruido / Noise, in the company of the artist Karen Lamassonne.
About the exhibition
Ruido / Noise is the first international show of the work of Colombian-American artist Karen Lamassonne, produced by the Museo de Arte Moderno de Medellin in collaboration with Swiss Institute in New York and KW in Berlin. The exhibition presents for the first time together a selection of paintings, drawings, collages, and videos created by the artist from 1974 to the present, as part of MAMM’s effort to promote internationally Colombian women artists who have been transgressive in their respective eras and contexts.
This activity is part of the Dynamic Audience Development Program of the Mayor’s Office of Medellin.
