Synopsis: Alberto Navarro is a 28-year-old man who lives in the Ciénaga Grande de Santa Marta. There, he has had to learn to live while trapped in a body that does not obey orders, a consequence of dystonia, a disease that not only inhibits his autonomous movement but also keeps him connected full-time to an artificial respirator. His mother works as a fisherwoman and with her old sewing machine to provide their daily sustenance and buy medicine for her son, making sure he lacks nothing… BUT HE LACKS EVERYTHING! One day, Alberto makes the decision to go to the sea and convinces his mother to take him to see it with his own eyes. Aware that this is one of the few things her son has ever asked for in life, the mother agrees without suspecting that all he wants is to desperately escape from the swamp that life placed him in.
Following the screening, a conversation will take place with Manolo Cruz, actor and director, and Vicky Hernández, actress.
