About Maria Villa
For 17 years she has dedicated herself to the practice and teaching of Yoga. Her studies in this art began with master Juan Carlos Linares at Yogashala (Caracas, Venezuela) and she has continued her training with teachers such as Mariangel Romero, Yoshio Hama, Sharon Gannon, David Life, and Andrei Ram. She is a certified Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga teacher (Vinyasa Yoga Academy, Rishikesh, India) and Sound Healing practitioner (World Peace Yoga School, Rishikesh, India).
Her therapy, meditation, or relaxation sessions with sounds are characterized by the use of vibrational frequencies from Tibetan and crystal bowls, in order to provide deep experiences of listening and healing through the properties of metals and quartz, whose multidirectional sounds expand through the space, enveloping and massaging the entire body.
