Negra Fest 2024 Opening

Negro Fest is a Black Culture Festival held every year in the city of Medellín since 2017, establishing itself in the country as a platform that enables the appropriation of knowledge through the performing arts, academic components, and spaces for visibility and empowerment, bringing together in one place creators, artists, entrepreneurs, actors, and Afro cultural managers from across the country in concerts, exhibitions, gastronomic experiences, and other activities for the whole family.

For 2024, it changes its name to Negra Fest to foster dialogues and reflections where diverse expressions, knowledge, and visions coexist, where we can understand the past, live the present, and build possible futures through the recognition and reconnection with our history and our roots, with a gender focus.
