Synopsis: After getting married, Emilce decides to film the women in her family as they gather to care for her grandmother Sixta, who is facing a terminal illness. Little by little, sisters, mothers, and daughters begin to speak for the first time about stories that were kept secret for a long time and, together, despite the painful memories, they embark on a hopeful journey of love and transformation. Nosotras is a family self-portrait about family joys and the resilience of three generations of women, but also about the devastating impact of conventional gender roles, domestic violence, and the suffocating weight of tradition.
After the screening, a conversation will take place with Emilce Quevedo, director of the film, and Rocio Castaneda, cultural manager.
