As part of the celebration of the Museum’s 45th anniversary, we will have a wide range of workshops and tours through our exhibitions, in which you can participate freely with prior registration.
In this tour, we will take a journey through the exhibition Version libre. Sucesos en la Coleccion MAMM, while we contemplate some of the works under the museum’s care; then we will create stories with them and send them messages in the form of epistolary mail. Letters serve to send messages of gratitude and also to shorten physical distances; they are useful for telling stories and for strengthening the bonds between the one who writes and the one who reads.
About the exhibition
The Museum set out to review and update the meanings of its collection, which is viewed as a compendium of pieces with meanings that change, are revitalized, and respond to diverse social relations. The exhibition is divided into four events that are relevant to the memory of the Museum and the country, while also addressing the issue of the concept of heritage and entering into dialogue with 56 works from the collection and 4 invited artists who update each of the events.
