First, think of a post-apocalyptic landscape; second, analyze the colors of that landscape; third — does that landscape have vegetation?
When we look toward the future and think about what would come after a “possible ending,” it becomes difficult to imagine that life will be surrounded by nature; our imagination reaches that limit and struggles to surpass the possibility of more life. So what if we imagine other ecosystems? What would the flowers that inhabit this new plant kingdom look like?
In this workshop, we will resignify the position of the flower or flowers, making them a possibility of the wild, the sharp, that which repels and that which survives. We invite you to this space to collectively imagine an unknown ecosystem, where together we will create new textures and forms of the natural using needles, threads and fabrics.
