We will converse with some of the collectives that were part of the exhibition Medellín. Pulso de la ciudad in 2023 about their current processes.
What has happened in Medellín one year after the exhibition? What has changed, what remains? We will carry out a drawing activation with participants from The Gallery at Divas and share a small publication gathering texts and artists from the exhibition, produced by La Bruja Riso.
About the exhibition
After roughly three decades since one of the most intense moments in the history of Medellín and a subsequent resurgence that has undoubtedly brought much well-being — but also unforeseen consequences — a notable subsequent international positioning and a recent pandemic, Pulso de la ciudad inquires into the artistic and cultural practices that emerge from the city to attempt to understand its current situation, achievements and challenges included.
