Open doors, winning over audiences
2nd Dynamic Audience Development Seminar
The Dynamic Audience Development Seminar reaches its second edition in 2023 with the inter-institutional gathering Open doors, winning over audiences; a setting that hopes to foster an exchange of experiences around the current and future panorama of trends related to audience development and audience management in the creative and cultural sector of the District of Medellin on Wednesday, December 6 at the Parque Biblioteca Tomas Carrasquilla – La Quintana.
Thus, the Mayor’s Office of Medellin through the Secretariat of Culture, in coordination with the Museo de Antioquia, the Museo de Arte Moderno de Medellin (MAMM), the Museo Cementerio San Pedro, the Museo Pedro Nel Gomez, the Parque Explora, the Teatro Pablo Tobon Uribe, and the Teatro Metropolitano, in partnership with the Medellin Public Library System, will develop a formative-experiential day in which they will share their best practices and strategies in audience development and management through various experiences.
The day will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 5 p.m., offering attendees panels and workshops organized by the entities allied with the strategy to reflect on the relationship of cultural entities with their audiences, the creation of meeting spaces, and the pedagogical mission.
During the morning, 2 panels and a talk-recital will be presented to discuss the relationships woven with audiences. In the afternoon, five experiential workshops will offer the attending public the opportunity to connect with artistic practices and innovative cultural proposals through interactive workshop or laboratory-type activities.
