Talk with artist Cindy Muñoz
Date: Friday, October 17
Time: 6 p.m.
Location: Exhibition 'Bubuia. Aguas como fuente de imaginaciones y deseos'
Free admission
During this gathering, the artist Cindy Muñoz will share fragments of her main project Mi Madre Es-Tela (2009–2025) and the collective ritual performance Buscar el Río, Escribir sus Voces, which address grief, the search for connection with the Amazonian territory of origin, and the urgency of speaking about care and the environmental crisis from the voices of native Amazonian peoples. She explores the relationship between the intimate and the collective from her body, as an Indigenous mestiza person who grew up far from the territory but who, through memory and ritual action, draws ever closer to it.
We inform our visitors that during exhibition programming and public events, the Museo de Arte Moderno de Medellín may take photographic, video, and/or audiovisual recordings that could include the image of attendees.
