Workshop: How to narrate culture?

The Workshop: How to narrate culture? is designed to identify new ways of projecting the cultural work of a society, learn about how to publicize the work of artists, agents and cultural managers, and make our city visible as a cultural environment.

It will feature a practical and participatory methodology. During the process, the learned concepts will be addressed to create a feedback space for the content developed by the attendees.

Session 1. Saturday, November 16, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Guiding questions: What is the importance of narratives in building a society? What is the role of people who want to narrate the city and culture? What references has the city had? Where should we direct our gaze?

Demonstration of how Compás Urbano carries out its annual, quarterly, and monthly strategy review and toolbox delivery: strategic planning, content calendar, metrics.

  • Main digital formats.
  • Tools for content creation and editing.
  • AI tools for content creation.

Exercise aimed at content creation with the tools provided in the previous hour. The focus of the exercise will be defined with the Museum’s work team, and feedback on the exercise will be given after the practical exercise.

Session 2. Saturday, November 23, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Tour and content creation at 4 of the Ba.Co workshops: Juan Santiago Uribe Lab1401, La Hoja, El Coleccionista, Estudio Andrés Layos.

Feedback on content created during the BA.CO tour.
