During this workshop, we will play with graphic intervention to construct new narratives that evoke the past, question the present and serve to envision the future. We will approach the fanzine as a publication format to create other stories outside the dominant logic, enabling the search for fictions and the silent contemplation of time.
In this workshop, we will create a series of hand-painted pictorial interventions on stones of different sizes, with the intention of generating a wide series composed of transformed stones thanks to the colors and shapes that each participant will create for them.
Did you know that a notebook is the evolution of what was once a chest? Storing, preserving, recording and protecting — these were some of the needs that gave birth to books and notebooks. In this workshop, we will explore the traditional technique known as French stitch, which is a method of artisanal exposed stitch bookbinding; and we will discuss the characteristics of paper, pastes, stitching and bookbinding.
In the agitation of contemporary life, we are called to open our inner eye and our outer eye to expand how we connect with the world from a critical and active perspective. During the workshop, we will create amulets against the evil eye and sharpen our supersensible observation.
