Did you know that the art of Pop-up was born from the need to understand the world? Imagine being able to narrate life with volumes, movement and structures using only sheets of paper. Pop-up books have been used as informative manuals, entertaining fables and decorative objects, since this art allows us to question what lies behind each window.
During this workshop, we will explore paper mechanics and build windows to other worlds through foldable realities. We will learn mechanisms, folds and basic cuts of Pop-up art, delving into one of them to design cards or create the beginning of a new narrative. We look forward to seeing you to build stories in the 3D universe of paper.
