We invite you to check the hours when we will open our doors
The Museum’s doors will be open every day between Saturday, March 23, and Sunday, March 31, 2024. Among the exhibitions that can be visited are La buena vida. Obras de la colección del Banco de la República and Colectivo Sonoscopia. oCo, which will be on view through Sunday, March 31, to make way in April for five new exhibitions, making this the last opportunity to see them. To delve deeper into the context of the exhibitions in our galleries, as well as the artists’ motivations for creating their works, we will have guided tours accompanied by the MAMM Mediators from Wednesday to Saturday at 3 p.m., in both Spanish and English, with the following schedule:
Wednesday, March 27 // Tour in Spanish
Inner landscapes: we will take a journey through the idea of landscape and some of the representations artists have made of it; we will also reflect on what landscapes represent for each of us and then discuss the notions of inner landscape.
Thursday, March 28 // Tour in English
Sacred Bodies: we will talk about the sacred elements and their relationship with our bodies; a way to comprehend our bodily territory as a sacred space.
Friday, March 29 // Tour in Spanish
Sacred territory: we will approach the concept of rituality seen as a tool of resistance, re-signification, and identity of territories.
Saturday, March 30 // Tour in English
Sacred Bonds: we will explore the idea of the sacred from a social point of view; where the crafts, the territory and the bodies invite us to reflect on the bonds we establish with our surrounding.
By purchasing museum admission, you can participate in these tours without needing to register in advance.
Another activity to enjoy this week at the Museum is attending MAMM Cinema screenings, which will take place from Saturday, March 23, through Sunday, March 31.
As a complement to your Museum visit, you can enjoy a wide range of dining options and spaces such as the Ciudad del Río linear park, the MAMM’s plaza, and its terraces. A picnic afternoon, walking with your pet, reading, meditating, and exercising are some of the ways to spend time in these spaces.
To reach the Museum, you can use bus routes that travel along Av. Las Vegas, the Metro Industriales station, and the Encicla bike-sharing system.
