Connect with art and culture in the city
This Friday, September 27, we will have another edition of our traditional Extended Night so you have more time to connect with art, which is why we are extending the Museum’s hours until 10 p.m.
The large screen located in the Plaza will light up at 7:00 p.m. to enjoy together a new outdoor cinema screening with the film Fosforos mojados, directed by Sebastian Duque. The outdoor screening will take place if weather conditions permit.
At 6:00 p.m., join the gathering Medellín, Music and Women with Piedad Castro from Fertil Miseria; La Tifa, Colombian singer-songwriter; Maria Jose Perez from Los Primatez; and Maria Paulina Perez, photographer and visual artist; who will converse with Carolina Rojas, director of the Festival Atavoz.
At 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., attendees will be able to enjoy guided tours of the exhibition Musa. Perspectivas femeninas en las Colecciones del MAMM y MAC Panama.
Those interested in participating in this activity can approach the ticket booth at the indicated time to join one of these tours and learn in greater detail about the artists’ motivations behind their works and the stories behind these exhibitions.
The MAMM Shop will be another space to visit during this Extended Night. There you can purchase products inspired by our exhibitions and items from local and national designers that are part of the extensive catalog, which includes clothing, jewelry, books, music, stationery, among other items.
To reach the Museum, you can use bus routes that travel along Av. Las Vegas, the Metro Industriales station, and the EnCicla bike-sharing system. The Museum also has covered parking, and its surroundings offer a wide variety of restaurants and cafes to enjoy.
The panel discussion and outdoor film screening are held in partnership with Festival Altavoz and the Cinemateca de Medellín.
Extended Night is made possible thanks to the support of Comfama, EPM, Valores Simesa and the Ministerio de las culturas, las artes y los saberes.
This event takes place as part of the Dynamic Audience Development Program of the Secretaría de Cultura Ciudadana of the Mayor’s Office of Medellín.
