Collage and sensitive observation laboratory with artist Ana Elena Garuz
In this laboratory, visual artist Ana Elena Garuz proposes a slow-paced creation experience using magazines and various papers. Through meditative observation, participants will select, scratch, cut, and compose images from a place of slowness and intimate connection with the materials.
A practice that invites concentration on minimal gestures and experiencing collage as a form of perception, memory, and visual reorganization.
About Ana Elena Garuz
A visual artist whose work focuses on abstract painting, collage, drawing, and the sculptural. She starts from everyday fragments that she classifies and reconfigures with almost systematic precision. With modest materials and a poetics of the essential, Garuz builds compositions that reveal connections between the intimate and the structural, moving between the two-dimensional and the objectual.
