Cuerpos políticos. Special tour of the exhibition Musa

This tour proposes walking through the exhibition Musa. Perspectivas femeninas en las Colecciones del MAMM y MAC Panamá with the purpose of reflecting on the ways in which diverse women artists have narrated, questioned, and intervened in the political history of Colombia and Latin America. We start from the recognition that historical narratives have been constructed, for the most part, from the perspective of major institutions, official mediations, and a predominantly male viewpoint.

In contrast, this exhibition offers the possibility of approaching other ways of looking at the past and the present: forms that emerge from experience, memory, criticism, and visual languages. Through a slow and attentive tour, we will open a space for conversation in which the political can be read from non-hegemonic places, activating new questions about what is narrated, who narrates it, and how the versions of our collective history are constructed.
