Permanent Collection

MAMM has gathered one of the most significant artistic patrimonies, including representative works of Colombian modern and contemporary art, with special emphasis on the second half of the 20th century.


The Museum houses the most important collection of the Antioquean artist Débora Arango,

comprised by 246 works, and sculptures, paintings and drawings by Hernando Tejada. The MAMM collection comprises works of Latin American artists Ana Mendieta, Carlos Cruz-Díez, Carlos Garaicoa; and Colombian artists Enrique Grau, Luis Caballero, Beatriz González, Manuel Hernández, Álvaro Barrios, Fernell Franco, Óscar Muñoz, Luis Fernando Peláez, Hugo Zapata, Óscar Jaramillo, María Teresa Cano, Jorge Julián Aristizábal, Fredy Alzate, César del Valle, amongothers.


Additionally, MAMM houses a collection of engravings and multiples, which were all part of the Artes Gráficas Panamericanas portfolios (AGPA), and an extensive photographic archive with works of Benjamín de la Calle, Pedro Meyer, and Gabriel Carvajal, among others.
