In this exhibition, rather than considering the artists and their works based on their careers, the aim is to recover and understand, within their context, the circumstances in which the collection emerged and the unique aspects of its compositional processes over 40 years.
The exhibition is structured around the notion of a “constellation,” and, as in its scientific sense, this involves the presentation of a series of conventional and open-ended groupings. These groupings are both arbitrary—since they do not constitute a single, universal interpretation—and dynamic—insofar as their relational positions are constantly changing thanks to the viewer, even if they appear unchanging.
In this sense, it is important to emphasize that the exhibition will offer visitors an encounter with several nuclei rather than a single center. These nuclei are not presented as having hierarchical relationships; on the contrary, non-linear narratives, outside of chronological order, are emphasized.
