Exposición Cita a ciegas Julián Urrego

Julián Urrego Gil. Blind Date

The artist, teacher, and founder of Taller 7, has been developing a body of work that addresses notions of masculinity, sex, interpersonal relationships, image, and body as a metaphor for identity. From his selective perception, he has begun to find gestures, objects, effects, movements, and situations as aesthetic experiences that are incorporated into his drawings on unconventional supports, along with compositions of words and texts.

Calendar From 26 de July 2017 al 04 de June del 2018

On this occasion, he establishes a dialogue with visitors by intervening in the Museum’s hall with fluorescent adhesive that reads: Ocúltalo en mis ojos, a phrase inspired by Goya’s painting La gallina ciega, questioning the manifestations of reality in the social and political sphere, beyond truth and lies.
