The museum will be open every day between Saturday, March 23 and Sunday, March 31, 2024. During these days, visitors will be able to enjoy three exhibitions, guided tours, film programming, access to the study room and outdoor activities on the terraces, small square and the Ciudad del Río park.
The exhibitions that can be visited include The Good Life. Works from the Banco de la República Collection and Sonoscopia. oCo, which will be on display until Sunday, March 31, to give way in April to five new exhibitions, which will be the last opportunity to visit them. To explore the context of the exhibitions in our galleries, as well as the artists’ motivations for their work, we will have guided tours between Wednesday and Saturday at 3 p.m., in English and Spanish, with the following schedule:
Wednesday, March 27 // Tour in Spanish
Interior landscapes: we will take a journey through the idea of landscape and some of the representations that artists have made of it; we will also question what they represent for each one of us and, afterwards, we will talk about the notions of interior landscape.
Thursday, March 28 // Tour in English
Sacred bodies: we will talk about the sacred elements and their relationship with our bodies; a way to comprehend our bodily territory as a sacred space.
Friday, March 29 // Tour in Spanish
Sacred territory: we will approach the concept of rituality seen as a tool of resistance, resignification and identity of the territories.
Saturday, March 30 // Tour in English
Sacred bounds: we will explore the idea of the sacred from a social point of view; where the crafts, the territory and the bodies invite us to reflect on the bonds we establish with our surrounding.
By purchasing the admission ticket to the Museum, you can participate in these tours.
Another activity to enjoy this week at the Museum is to attend the performances of the MAMM Cinema, which will also take place from Saturday, March 23 to Sunday, March 31.
As a complement to the visit to the Museum, you can enjoy a wide gastronomic offer and spaces such as the Ciudad del Río park, the small square and the terraces of the MAMM. An afternoon picnic, a walk with your pet, reading, meditation and physical activity are some of the options for spending time in these spaces.
To get to the Museum you can use bus routes that run along Las Vegas Avenue or the Industriales Metro station.
