Connect with art and culture in the city
On Friday, March 27th, we will experience another edition of our traditional Extended Night so that you have more time to connect with art, so we are extending the Museum’s hours until 10 p.m.
The large screen in the Plaza will light up at 7:00 p.m. for a new outdoor movie screening, this time featuring Arco. The outdoor showing will take place weather permitting.
This time, the Extended Night comes with 3 new exhibitions that you can visit with free admission from 6 p.m.: Birds and mountains inhabit us, Light, fire and ash, and The whisper of mud.
5:00 p.m. Concert by the Medellín Music Network.
6:30 p.m. Activation of the work Bajos de tierra by the Costa Rican artist Christian Salablanca, by musicians from the Antioquia Departmental Orchestra (Jorge Ospina, Simón Díez and David Patiño).
7:00 p.m. Arco outdoor movie screening.
7:30 p.m. Guided tours of the new exhibitions.
Attendees will also be able to enjoy the exhibition Open Signal. Languages of Contemporary Art and the garden of Khoka Project.
Those interested in participating in the guided tours can go to the ticket office at the indicated time to join one of these visits and learn more about the artists’ motivations with their works and the stories behind these exhibitions.
The MAMM Store will be another place to visit during this day, where you will find products inspired by our exhibitions and objects from local and national designers that are part of the extensive catalog that includes clothing, jewelry, books, music, stationery, among other references.
